What is Event Recording in Memory Card Settings?

The memory card recording function has been improved and upgraded. It now supports time-based settings and offers more flexible recording options.

Recording Modes

The system currently supports two recording modes:
  • Continuous Recording: Uninterrupted video recording at all times.
  • Event Recording: Video is recorded only when triggered by specific events.

What is Event Recording?

Event recording refers to a recording mode where the system starts capturing video only when an event is detected, instead of recording continuously.

Can the Camera Reconnect to the Network Automatically After Power Off?

When the camera's network connection is normal, it can usually reconnect to the network automatically after being powered off and restarted.

Automatic Reconnection

In most cases, the camera will reconnect to the network without any manual setup.
  • Normal Situation: The device reconnects automatically after power is restored.

Possible Exceptions

In some situations, automatic reconnection may fail.

  • Power Outage: Unexpected interruptions may cause the device to lose network configuration.
  • Solution: Reconfiguration of the network settings may be required.

What Should I Do If the Night Vision Switch Is Abnormal?

If the night vision switch is not working properly, it may affect how the camera displays images under different lighting conditions.

How Night Vision Works

When Night Vision is set to [Automatic], the camera adjusts based on lighting conditions.
  • Low Light / Night: The camera switches to infrared mode, and the image becomes monochrome.
  • Poor Lighting (Daytime): The camera may also activate night vision mode.

When a Problem Occurs

If the image remains monochrome during the day even under strong lighting, the night vision switch may be abnormal.

Suggested Solution

  • Disable the Automatic night vision mode.
  • Manually check whether the camera returns to normal color display.

If you are not receiving notifications on your phone, please check the following settings to ensure everything is configured correctly.

Check Feature Settings

Make sure event detection features are enabled in the app settings.
  • Human Detection: Ensure it is turned on.
  • Abnormal Noise Detection: Make sure this feature is also enabled.

Enable Notifications

  • Turn on Notifications to receive alerts for all events.

Check Phone Permissions

  • Verify that system notification permissions are enabled for the app.
  • Make sure the app is allowed to run in the background.
