What Should I Do If My Phone Cannot Receive Notifications?

First, confirm whether you are not receiving Ring Notifications or Event Notifications.

1. Ring Notifications Not Received

• Ensure notifications are enabled:
  • Botslab App → Doorbell Settings → Ring Alerts
• Test notification functionality:
  • Open the app and ring the doorbell
  • Check whether the app receives the notification
• If notifications appear in the app but not on your phone:
  • Ensure system notification permissions are enabled
  • Allow the app to send notifications in phone settings

2. No Notifications at All

• Check device status:
  • Ensure the doorbell is online
  • Signal strength is above 70%
  • App → Doorbell Settings → Battery and Network
• Enable notification settings:
  • Doorbell Settings → Ring Alerts
  • Doorbell Settings → Message Settings
• Disable Do Not Disturb:
  • Doorbell Settings → Do Not Disturb
  • App → Me → Settings → Message Settings → Do Not Disturb
• Check phone system settings:
  • Enable system notifications
  • Allow the app to run in the background
  • Ensure call/notification permissions are enabled

3. Still Not Working?

• Submit feedback within the app
• Contact support: service@botslab.com
• Confirm the doorbell is online:
  • The base station shows a blue light
  • You are able to view the live (real-time) video
• Make sure recording is enabled:
  • Doorbell Settings → Motion Recordings
