Do not power off the device during a firmware upgrade. If the device becomes unusable due to an unexpected power failure, you can restore it by manually programming the firmware.
Preparation
- Insert the TF card into a card reader and check that its file system is FAT32
- Prepare the correct firmware version and copy it to the root directory of the TF card
Steps
- Insert the TF card into the Botslab Indoor Cam 2 Pro
- Disconnect the power supply of the device
- Press and hold the Set button (or use an ejection pin for the reset hole)
- While holding the button, reconnect the power supply
- Wait for about 10 seconds, then release the button
- Wait for about 1 minute until the indicator turns steady blue or blinks green

Restart the router and reconnect the camera by replugging the power supply. If the issue persists, follow the steps below.
Checks Before Reconnecting
- Ensure the mobile phone, camera, and router are in the same room, with a distance of less than 2 meters
- Check whether the network is available and the Wi-Fi password is correct
- Ensure the router has not enabled restrictions such as MAC filtering, blacklist/whitelist, or anti-Wi-Fi squatter functions
- Note: The camera does not support networks that require authentication
