What Should I Do If My Phone Cannot Receive Notifications?
First, confirm whether you are not receiving Ring Notifications or Event Notifications.
1. Ring Notifications Not Received
- Ensure notifications are enabled:
- Botslab App → Doorbell Settings → Ring Alerts
- Test notification functionality:
- Open the app and ring the doorbell
- Check whether the app receives the notification
- If notifications appear in the app but not on your phone:
- Ensure system notification permissions are enabled
- Allow the app to send notifications in phone settings
2. No Notifications at All
- Check device status:
- Ensure the doorbell is online
- Signal strength is above 70%
- App → Doorbell Settings → Battery and Network
- Enable notification settings:
- Doorbell Settings → Ring Alerts
- Doorbell Settings → Message Settings
- Disable Do Not Disturb:
- Doorbell Settings → Do Not Disturb
- App → Me → Settings → Message Settings → Do Not Disturb
- Check phone system settings:
- Enable system notifications
- Allow the app to run in the background
- Ensure call/notification permissions are enabled
3. Still Not Working?
- Submit feedback within the app
- Contact support: service@botslab.com
- Confirm the doorbell is online:
- The base station shows a blue light
- You are able to view the live (real-time) video
- Make sure recording is enabled:
- Doorbell Settings → Motion Recordings
